HUA HIN, THAILAND, December 10, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Top tennis stars will be travelling to Thailand to take part in the World Tennis Charity Invitation event on New Year's Day 2012.
The Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand is organising the charity event at Centennial Park on January 1st in order to help raise money for recovery efforts following the recent Thai floods.
It will be headlined by world women's number one Caroline Wozniacki, on her second visit to Thailand, and third-ranked Victoria Azarenka, with the match-up between the pair set to be televised worldwide.
Meanwhile, popular US men's star John Isner will also be participating and will face off against local legend Paradorn Srichaphan, the first Thai player ever to win an ATP title.
Tickets for the event are available now and cost 2,000 baht (GBP41.60), with all proceeds going towards the charity drive.
It will commence with Wozniacki and Azarenka's match at 17:00 local time, with attendees able to enjoy live music and plentiful food and drinks over the course of the evening.
