StarPoint Advantage Founder, Top Executive David Davis Named Finalist at San Diego Business Journal's Recent Most Admired CEO Event

    SAN DIEGO, CA, January 02, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- IT managed services provider StarPoint Advantage (www.starpointadvantage.com) said founder and CEO David Davis has been named by the San Diego Business Journal as a finalist at its recently held annual Most Admired CEO Awards.

Davis was among a special group of top local executives recognized at an event held Dec. 8 at the Paradise Point Resort and Spa on Mission Bay in San Diego.

The popular networking gathering recognizes dynamic business leaders and role models, who were selected for their achievements and contributions to San Diego companies.

A panel of independent judges picked the finalists and honorees after a rigorous nomination process.

"It's quite an honor to be in such august company with the other CEOs who were also honored," said Davis. "The Business Journal's most admired CEOs are a very elite group of executives."

David's been closely involved in his company's financial success since his first day of business. In May 2008, he spun off from his partnership in a larger, national company to focus on business opportunities in San Diego, and in doing so, took the familiar entrepreneurial path to get things rolling. He used his credit card to jump-start the business.

Since then, David's grown sales 100 percent, delivering positive bottom line results, and building a very solid client list.

The Most Admired award was not the first time that David's efforts have been recognized as founder and CEO.

The 3-year-old firm recently placed No. 30 on the Business Journal's 2011 list of the 100 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies. The company ranked No. 30 with a three-year growth rate of 108.5 percent since 2008, putting it in the upper third of the fastest-growing businesses in the county.
