PATTAYA, THAILAND, January 07, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pattaya travellers will have a chance to put their physical attributes to the test during the upcoming King Kong Adventure Run.
Organised by the Pattaya Jungle Monkey Hash House Harriers, the event will see participants going on a gruelling and demanding run through the local countryside, lasting up to two-and-a-half hours.
However, runners can also look forward to enjoying a restaurant meal to mark the occasion, with a French food buffet, beer, soft drinks and snacks all promised.
The Pattaya Jungle Monkey Hash House Harriers have been organising runs regularly since October 2005, with only men taking part in their activities.
People wishing to get involved will need to pay a fee of 800 baht (GBP16.30), which includes the cost of transport, refreshments and a complimentary Monkey t-shirt.
Places on the roster are strictly limited, meaning would-be hash runners will need to book as soon as possible to be assured a spot.
Those participating will also need to remember to wear brightly-coloured odd socks, a traditional of the organisation that has been upheld since its inception.
Amateur athletes can find a generous selection of Pattaya hotels at AsiaRooms.com, including the Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort.
