We witnessed gridlock in congress, a downgrade of U.S. debt, a deteriorating Eurozone, and a generally weak U.S. economy last year and these models provided the following returns:

The AFG Equity Income portfolio was up 13.9% for the year vs. the S&P 500 Dividend Index of 3.69%. Our Large Cap Core portfolio was up 7.01% vs the S&P (non-dividend) Index of 0.00%.

The AFG Core Fixed Income portfolio was up 5.88% vs. the Dow Jones Corporate Bond Index of 3.18% and the AFG Core Municipal Income portfolio showed a 15.03% return vs. the DJ Corporate Bond Index of 3.18%.
