/24-7PressRelease/ - STILLWATER, MN, March 18, 2007 — The David Pressley Realtors Group, a group of buyers' agents in the Twin Cities area, announced today that they are switching to another office in the RE/MAX International organization. This marks a big step in the history of the group, which has been serving potential home buyers in Minnesota and western Wisconsin for five years.
The decision to switch from RE/MAX Resources in Stillwater to RE/MAX Associates Plus in White Bear Lake came after much deliberation within the group. While Resources serves 41 realtors and has only one office, Associates Plus serves over 400 realtors and has 12 offices in the metro area.
"We felt we'd have better opportunities with more agents and more offices to work with," said David Pressley, Chairman of the David Pressley Realtors Group. "It will increase our resources and make it easier for us to serve the needs of our clients."
Buyers' agents are real-estate agents who represent buyers in various stages of purchasing properties. They negotiate with sellers' agents to get their clients the best possible prices on their purchases. Their fees are collected as a percentage of the final sale price of the property, which means the buyers pay nothing for their services.
RE/MAX International is one of the leading real estate franchise networks in the world, with over 119,000 agents in 60 different countries.
