DUBAI, UAE, January 28, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Novak Djokovic and Caroline Wozniacki are heading back to the Middle East for next month's Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.
The two defending champions have both confirmed their participation in the tournament, which gets underway at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre on Monday February 20th.
World number one Djokovic should be confident of triumphing in Dubai once more, having won the event for the last three years. He beat Roger Federer in the final last year as part of a hugely impressive run that also saw him clinch the Wimbledon and US Open titles.
Wozniacki, who defeated Svetlana Kuznetsova to lift the Dubai trophy, is yet to emulate her male counterpart's Grand Slam success but will be hopeful of claiming another victory in the emirate.
"I really love Dubai as a city and the tournament is so well run. They take such good care of us and it just makes playing there a much better experience," she said recently.
Other stars due to take part in the event include Andy Murray, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Li Na and Victoria Azarenko.
The women's tournament runs from February 20th to 25th, with the men taking to the court between February 27th and March 3rd.
Individual day tickets are available online, priced between 50 and 350 dirhams (GBP8.70 and GBP61.20).
