Career.VI was named as the official online job portal for the Virgin Islands, helping to provide better job search and application services to the job seekers in the territory and to facilitate the job posting process by the employers. The U.S. territory faces economic challenges and wide spread unemployment as the largest private sector employer in USVI, Hovensa, moves to close its operations on St. Croix and government faces serious financial challenges.
