Both Hunsucker and Welch will be operating out of the firm's Raleigh office, while King will handle cases in their Charlotte office.
Since graduating from law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003, Ginger Hunsucker has been practicing defense litigation at Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog with significant experience in medical malpractice and professional negligence. During her career at CSH, Hunsucker has worked on a wide range of defense cases involving everything from private practices and hospitals to nursing care facilities. Her experience also includes defending "Woodson" claims, and handling litigation in the areas of environmental law, errors and omissions, automobile cases and commercial law.
Todd King has been defending civil cases for Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog since 2002, representing companies, public entities, and individuals in numerous cases. In particular, his experience in various professional and premises liability issues has allowed him to focus a significant portion of his practice defending real estate appraisers and home inspectors in North Carolina. A graduate of Wake Forest University Law School, King also represents clients in litigation involving product liability, business disputes, insurance law, and motor vehicle negligence.
A trial and appellate lawyer for Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog since 2003, Jennifer Welch developed a statewide civil litigation practice representing businesses, insurance carriers and individuals. She has significant experience in state and federal courts, as well as in preparing arguments for the North Carolina Court of Appeals. She is also accomplished outside the courtroom where she has helped clients in a variety of alternative dispute resolution forums, including mediations and arbitrations. During her career, she has achieved favorable results for clients in matters ranging from motor vehicle negligence and insurance coverage to products liability and construction disputes.
