Her breakthru role on television was as Pinky on NBC's hit cultural comedy Outsourced(2010-2011, 22), (which can be seen now on DVD, Netflix & on Zee Cafe TV) Fans of the show found Pinky's ditzy, tough, adventourous B team call center worker character developed through the season to be endearing.
Getty Images' Frazer Harrison and Kevin Winter captured her photo on the Emmy Red Carpet 2011, where she was wearing a Sari which is an important highlight of changing images in the American landscape for many parts of the United States is enhanced by people of diverse cultural heritage.
Currently Thushari is working on her own experimental sketch/stand up comedy short titled Jelly Jam. Recently she got on the S** Girls Say parody bandwagon with 1 explicit & 1 clean parody of a parody videos on youtube.
Keep an eye out for her this spring as a guest artist on the Don't Trust the B*** in Apartment 23 on ABC on April 2012.
Her dream is to be able to work on creative projects and help bring stories to life and for one day to be nominated for or to win an Emmy, a Golden Globe, Oscar or other award of achievement for her work.
