DEVON, ENGLAND, February 07, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pop vocalist Colin Blunstone is due to play live at the Palace Theatre in Paignton, Devon on Wednesday February 22nd.
Often described as one of his generation's greatest voices, the 66-year-old performer has enjoyed many hits with The Zombies and as a solo artist.
Blunstone rose to fame with the release of The Zombies' 1964 debut single She's Not There, which arguably remains his most famous recording.
Written by fellow band member Rod Argent, the song initially reached number 12 in the UK singles chart and went on to inspire countless cover versions.
Blunstone enjoyed solo success with songs such as Say You Don't Mind and I Don't Believe in Miracles during the 1970s, as well as contributing vocals to Dave Stewart's hit 1981 cover version of What Becomes of the Brokenhearted.
His show in Devon will see the singer take a break from touring with The Zombies to play with his own band, who are set to perform tracks from Blunstone's forthcoming new solo album.
Tickets for the concert are available online, priced at GBP16. The music is due to begin at 20:00 GMT.
