SINGAPORE, March 03, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Visitors to Singapore will be able to see some of the 20th century's most iconic art pieces at the upcoming Andy Warhol: 15 Minutes Eternal show.
The show will take place at the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands to mark the 25th anniversary of the famous pop artist's death, running in Singapore from March 17th to August 12th 2012 as part of a wider Asian tour.
It will feature more than 260 paintings, drawings, sculptures, films and videos of Warhol's work, accompanied by various associated documents, interactive timelines, photographs and archive material.
Tracing his progress from innovative youngster to global icon over the decades, the exhibition will include world-famous pieces such as the Campbell's Soup Can and his portraits of Liz Taylor and Marilyn Monroe.
Opening times run from 10:00 to 22:00 daily, with tickets for the Andy Warhol show costing S$15 (GBP7.50) for adults, S$14 for seniors and S$9 for kids.
The museum itself features more than 50,000 square feet of galleries and a distinctive architectural aesthetic, modelled after a lotus flower.
