ISM Program Manager to Teach Federal Program Management Courses

(ISM) announced today that David Schweibold, ISM Program Manager and Sr. Solutions Architect, has been recertified by Learning Tree International, Reston, Virginia, to teach entry and mid-level program and project management courses as a part of their Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI) Federal Acquisition Certification Program/Project Management (FAC P/PM) course offerings. This certification program establishes the necessary competencies, training, and experience requirements for program and project managers in civilian agencies to become certified to manage the acquisition-related aspects of projects. The Entry/Apprentice level and Mid-Level/Journeyman courses focus on applying topics in Leadership, Program and Project Management, Acquisition and Contract Management, and Federal Business Management to the Federal program management process.

Mr. Schweibold's past work experience includes serving as a business unit Chief Information Officer (CIO) in large aerospace and defense companies and as a corporate CIO in the building products and textile industries. Most recently, his ISM engagements have focused on all facets of IT process engineering and implementation of ISM's proprietary Framework for IT Success(SM), commonly known as Fritz , for both commercial and government clients.

He holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Psychology and Science from Bowling Green State University; an M.B.A. in Production and Operations Management from the University of Colorado-Denver; is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP); and has been awarded a Certification in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA.
