To be held at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club, the event will be taking place for the 51st time this year, with players to compete for a total prize pot of $2.5 million (GBP1.58 million).
Headlining this year's competition will be 2010 US PGA Champion Martin Kaymer and 2011 Masters winner Charl Schwartzel, who will appear alongside skilled golfers from Asia and other parts of the world.
Both stars appeared at last year's competition, along with Gregory Bourdy and Rory McIlroy, but all of them were beaten to the top prize by Matteo Manassero, who became the youngest ever winner of the tournament two days before his 18th birthday.
Tickets to see all four days of the event cost 40 ringgits (GBP8.40), with passes for individual days costing ten or 20 ringgits, while price reductions of 50 per cent are available for senior citizens.
Attendees are advised to bring sunscreen, lip balm, headgear, sunglasses, binoculars and an umbrella.
