However, two of those female assistants will not actually be women, as Merton is set to be joined on stage by frequent collaborators Lee Simpson, Richard Vranch and Suki Webster.
 
The emphasis will be on improvisational comedy and Merton's typically deadpan, surreal humour.
 
Tickets for the show, which is due to begin at 20:00 BST, can be purchased online for GBP24 plus booking fee.
