/24-7PressRelease/ - WALTHAM, MA, April 12, 2007 - Continuing their culture of giving back to the communities it serves, Blue Robin has donated $10,000 to help offset the overall costs of their development team to design, develop and implement an eBusiniess infrastructure for Community VNA (Community Visiting Nurse Agency) of Attleboro. Community VNA provides home health care services including skilled nursing and rehabilitation care as well as hospice care, private care, adult day health and wellness services to those in need throughout the communities of southeastern Massachusetts.
The infrastructure that will be built for Community VNA will utilize the latest Internet technology and will feature a powerful Content Management System, an HR job posting and an education event calendar that will be seamlessly integrated with the VNA's Web site. Objectives for the project include: updating the look and usability of the site while also providing the VNA with complete control over the future content additions and changes. The new website infrastructure will have nonstop functionality with 24x7 support, and will be fault-tolerant and fully redundant so the site is never down. The proposed launching of the new site is scheduled for late Spring, 2007.
"We thank Blue Robin for donating this very generous gift-in-kind, valued at $10,000. We are deeply grateful to Blue Robin for their creativity and expertise in this important project. It's a pleasure to be associated with them as we work together to design and build a website infrastructure that will serve our organization today and well into the future." states Kathleen M. Trier, Executive Director and CEO of Community VNA.
"We are delighted and honored to be in a position to help a worthy non-profit organization such as Community VNA. The new eInfrastructure will enable Community VNA to better inform and better serve its constituencies with the most advanced care and support services while improving information and communications efficiencies in many areas. We are committed to continuing our support for Community VNA and will be available to them for ongoing development of their communication technology needs." states Hadi Shavarini, CEO of Blue Robin.
