    DUBAI, UAE, March 23, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Next month's Chill Out Festival at Dubai Media City is set to feature a headline set from UK indie act The Kooks.
 
Performers such as US hip-hop legends De La Soul and Nigerian drummer Tony Allen will also be on stage at the event, which is due to take place on Friday April 20th and Saturday April 21st.
 
Other confirmed artists include Algerian singer Rachid Taha, local hard rock band Nikotin and Berlin-based performer Robin Sukroso, who plays using a self-built guitar that functions like a pair of turntables.
 
A total of 15 live performances will be seen at Dubai Media City's amphitheatre over the two days.
 
Advance one-day tickets for the Chill Out Festival are priced at 200 dirhams (GBP34.30), while two-day passes cost 350 dirhams. Entry on the door will be priced at 250 dirhams.
 
The festival is an all-ages event, with free admittance for children aged 12 and under.
