WASHINGTON, DC, March 23, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Solar Solution is proud to announce that it was awarded a contract to install a Solar PV Array for Town of Mount Airy on their Water Treatment Facility. The solar panels installed on its roof will soon help power some of the essential key components for the treatment facility. The solar array will maximize the available space on the roof of the building and is being funded through a grant by the MD Energy Administration. "The solar photovoltaic system will help the City Of Mount Airy become less dependent on the coal-fired electric plants that serve MD, which dump carbon and other toxins in the atmosphere by producing its own clean alternative energy. We are hoping as more grants and incentives become available, that more counties take the lead by showing that they too are interested in finding ways to reduce their dependency on the grid by becoming more self sufficient " stated Atta Kiarash of Solar Solution.
