Paola Tocci Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Construction Services

    NEW YORK, NY, April 5, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Paola Tocci, Chief Executive Officer and President of The Tocci Group, was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Ms. Tocci has thrived in the Design and Construction industry since 1982 and has served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Federman Design & Construction Consultants and The Tocci Group for the last 30 years. She is expert in creating business opportunities, team building, and strategic planning. In her management role at The Tocci Group, she is responsible for business development, strategic planning, overseeing and managing staff members and approving all work going out the door. The Tocci Group provides Pre-Construction Services, Owner's Representation Services and Construction Management. The Tocci Group is certified as a Woman Owned Business.
Ms. Tocci attributes her success to her persistence, great mentors, and the fact that she acknowledges fear but doesn't let it get in the way. While in law school, she became involved in her current profession when she was asked to join her husband's family company to expand the business.

She has spoken at conventions and at girls' schools to show that women can do anything and succeed in any industry; if they put their minds to it. In the past, Ms. Tocci has served as Executive Vice President of the Triathlon Federation and has authored and published The Triathlon Training Log. In addition to being a triathlete, she has completed several marathons and recently was a Court Tennis finalist in The Gold Racquet Tournament held at The Tuxedo Club, Tuxedo Park, N.Y.

Ms. Tocci holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Political Science, earned at Mount Holyoke College in 1976, with Honors. She is fluent in French, Italian, and Spanish. She is the proud mother of two children; Piera and Peter.

Ms. Tocci is a member of the AIA, SMPS, ISHOF, SAME, The Explorer's Club, The Tuxedo Club, The Tuxedo Park Garden Club and a sustaining member of The Junior League. She is an active volunteer in her community. Currently she serves as Chairwoman on the Board of Architectural Review, Tuxedo Park, she is on the Membership Committee and Entertainment Committee of The Tuxedo Club and is a lay reader at St. Mary's Church in Tuxedo.

In the next few years, Ms. Tocci hopes to continue to grow the business, mentor young women and men, write, travel and learn more languages.
