StarPoint Advantage Founder David Davis Named San Diego Business Journal IT Executive of the Year Finalist

    SAN DIEGO, CA April 26, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- IT managed services provider StarPoint Advantage (www.starpointadvantage.com) said founder and CEO David Davis has been honored as a finalist in the recent IT Executive of the Year Awards held by the San Diego Business Journal.

Davis was among a special group of top local executives recognized April 19 at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center in San Diego's historical Balboa Park.

Close to 500 IT executives attended the fifth annual gathering.

The awards recognize leaders in the Information Technology sector, who were selected for their achievements and contributions in the field.

Davis was one of those honored in the Privately Held Company category.

"The Business Journal's IT Executives of the Year is an elite group of the best and brightest connected to the Information Technology sector," said Davis. "It's an honor to be included among them." Davis attributed part of the recognition to his hardworking staff members, charged with keeping the networks of his client firms working reliably and at top efficiency.

A panel of independent judges picked the 43finalists and 11 winners, not including two Award of Distinction honorees.

Davis has been closely involved in delivering his company's IT services to clients since launching the company in the spring of 2008.
