LOS ANGELES, CA, May 19, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- WorldFest Music and Education Festival will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2012, from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., in Woodley Park located at 6350 Woodley Ave., Lake Balboa, CA 91406. Now in it's 11th year, WorldFest is Southern California's largest Earth Day Celebration drawing visitors from across the state to enjoy diverse music, educational speakers and presentations, international food, animal adoptions and children's activities.
This year, the festival main stage will host Congressman Howard Berman; NBA Champion and health advocate John Salley; Actress and Comedienne Roseanne Barr; award-winning Director of the environmental film "Big Fix" and author Josh Tickell; Co-Founder of Farm Sanctuary and best-selling author Gene Baur; award-winning cartoonist and stand-up comedian, Dan Piraro; musical greats The Divine Crime, Con Brio and Wooster; Writer-director Ted Braun; comedienne and MADtv actress Debra Wilson; and former Bay Watch actress and activist Alexandra Paul, among many other speakers and entertainers.
Other festival venues will host healthy-living chefs, an Ultra-marathon runner, a children's environmental magician, "Eco Fashion/Recycled Fashion" show, and many more top-rated speakers and stage performances. There will be no shortage of fun and activities throughout the day including entertaining belly dancers, hula hooping, a dance flash mob, and animal adoptions.
