The legendary Manchester band, who split up acrimoniously following the release of their Second Coming LP in 1994, have reformed for a series of concerts across Europe and Asia this summer.

Many of the shows will take place at festivals and large venues, but the group are set to kick things off with two relatively intimate gigs in Barcelona on Friday June 8th and Saturday June 9th.

Fans will be treated to classic Stone Roses tracks performed by the band's original line-up - vocalist Ian Brown, guitarist Ian Squire, bass player Mani and drummer Reni.

Songs such as Sally Cinnamon, Made of Stone, Fools Good and I Wanna Be Adored made the group one of British music's most celebrated and influential acts during the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Anticipation for the two shows in the Catalan capital is extremely high, as rumours of a reunion had circulated for several years before it was finally confirmed in October 2011.

Tickets are priced at EUR55 (GBP44.20) plus booking fee.
