PerDM Hosts Annual Golf Tournament at DeVere Carden Park Golf Resort

    CHESTER, ENGLAND, May 28, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- DeVere Carden Park, a luxurious country Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa in Cheshire saw Global Provider PerDM host their Annual Golf Tournament last weekend. The popular venue was voted Best 2011 North of England Golf Resort in Today's Golfer Travel Awards. Carden Park was chosen by PerDM as they have used the venue for many conferences and events in the past. "It is a beautiful location in Cheshire and Carden Park has always been wonderful hosts to us in the past so it was an ideal place for us to hold the Golf Tournament," says Ian Attwood, Director at PerDM.

PerDM hosted suppliers and business partners from all over the UK, Spain, USA and Canada. Carden Park boasts two Championship courses, the Cheshire par 72 Cheshire course and The Nicklaus course, which was designed by the great Jack Nicklaus and his son. Many contenders at the PerDM Tournament referred to The Nicklaus as their favourite due to its challenging 'double option holes', the 15th hole is a long par 4, the second shot is over a stream to a well protected, undulating green. Jack Nicklaus was reported saying 'it certainly is a thinking man's golf course'.

The PerDM tournament took place over two days where all players were able to experience both courses. 'The turnout was great. Networking within the field marketing industry is important and I think we all really appreciated being able to do so out on the Golf Course. As the Golf Tournament has now become an annual event it is something we all look forward to throughout the year' adds Ian Attwood of PerDM.
