Flowers For Kids Foundation and Disneyland Team Up for Mother's Day
On May 13, 15,000 mothers attending Disneyland this Mother's Day will be given fresh flowers courtesy of Disneyland and the Flowers For Kids Foundation, according to Terry Johnson, the Foundation's spokesperson.
/24-7PressRelease/ - ANAHEIM, CA, May 12, 2007 - The day's event will be directed towards two objectives:
-Supporting education programs in the developing flower producing countries of Colombia and Ecuador
-Supporting local children's charities in the communities where flowers are sold.
Ralph Yack, spokesman for the Flowers for Kids Foundation will be available for comment on Mothers' day.
The Flowers For Kids Foundation Purpose:
Flowers For Kids Foundation supports The Sierra School Foundation in Ecuador with a portion of profits associated with the brand. It is our model school in Ecuador that we want to expand in other flower producing countries in South America. We are non-profit organization.
