Exlar's CTO, Bill Zerull, stated, "With continued demands on technology for higher levels of productivity, safety and energy efficiency, having the engineering skills to design, develop and integrate these technologies is critical for both manufacturers and the individuals coming into the workforce. By making these scholarships available, we see it as an investment for the future of the company, the community and the country."
Kim Hidy, Director of Human Resources, added, "The quality of all the candidates this year made selecting just four a difficult task, especially in light of the 60 percent increase in the number of candidates over last year's program.
