Southern Petroleum Laboratories, Inc. Announces Shareholder Christopher Frier Brown as President

    HOUSTON, TX, June 06, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Southern Petroleum Laboratories, Inc. today announced that its Board of Directors has approved the nomination of Christopher Frier Brown, MBA, LCSW as President of the Company.

Mr. Brown is only the third President in the 68-year history of SPL, and is the grandson of W.A. "Dubb" Frier and the son of Herb Brown.

Mr. Brown has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Organizational Behavior and Business Policy from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. He also obtained a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston.

Mr. Brown began his career with SPL in 1994 and has spent the past 18 years in such diverse roles as Director of Human Resources, Operations Manager, Vice-President of Environmental Laboratory Services and Director of Organizational Development.
