David Jay Janow Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Food Manufacturing

Mr. Janow successfully spearheads four companies: Axiom Foods, Inc., 4 in 1 Nutrition, Growing Naturals and Simply Rice. An expert in rice protein manufacturing, he is tasked with overseeing his companies, one of which, Axiom Foods, will earn more than $40 million this year. The companies are all food and rice related. Axiom Foods, Inc. is a natural foods company, while the others are food retail and manufacturing companies.

Mr. Janow's journey all started with his work with pet food, which was whole grain brown rice-based and exceptionally nutritious. He soon realized that this could be translated to human nutrition and replace soy proteins. He also developed and implemented rice ingredient manufacturing standards that continue to be used in the industry. Mr. Janow, a renowned advisor and speaker, continues to set new standards while fulfilling his mission to develop better foods through rice. He attributes his success to his persistence and determination and the fact that he never listens to naysayers.

Mr. Janow holds a Master of Law from Fordham University, a JD from Pace Law School, an MBA with a concentration in international securities and finance from Pace University Lubin School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in biology and psychology from the University of Miami. He is a member of Institute of Food Technologists, Natural Products Association, New York State Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, and the California Bar Association. In 2011, he was recognized as Nutrition Business Journal's Regatta Winner.
