TROY, MI, June 27, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fleet Enterprises, a fleet maintenance company that provides mobile repair and maintenance services to the transportation industry, has announced that it has awarded a multi-territory franchise agreement to Julian Keyes of Hampton, Georgia, as it continues to expand its franchise network presence throughout the United States.
With exclusive rights to start operating in Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Keyes, as the newest Fleet Enterprises franchise owner, is scheduled to ultimately open a minimum of twelve operations in the Southeastern U.S. over the next five years. The first of the new franchised operations is expected to be operating by July 15 of this year.
"We were pleased to be able to notify our national customers of Julian's planned service locations, as it gives us even broader reach than our Midwestern beginnings," said Darin Gross, Co-Owner of Fleet Enterprises. "On top of that, Julian is a man of high integrity. We are confident in his ability to lead, and proud to have him represent our program."
Julian is a veteran of the U.S. military who served in the Army as a mechanic for many years.
He recently returned from the southeast region of Afghanistan where he was contracted to lead a team of mechanics to perform FHWA inspections, repairs, and maintenance on tractors and military equipment. He learned about Fleet Enterprises through an online advertisement while still working in Afghanistan, and decided to pursue the opportunity from the base where he was stationed.
"It meant a lot to me that the entire Fleet Enterprises team worked with me patiently while I was in Afghanistan," stated Mr. Keyes. "Now that I am officially getting started, I am excited about the Fleet Enterprises brand, which will allow me to start the operations as an efficient, reputable business from the very first day within my first market. I cannot wait to see what the future holds, as I start my new civilian career as an independent business owner."
With ASE certifications in diesel engine diagnostics, maintenance and repair received from Adelphi Tech in Warren, Michigan in 1985, Mr. Keyes will be a hands-on business owner and will operate his first franchise himself. As he expands, he plans to hire on additional mechanics to help operate his new locations.
"I chose Fleet Enterprises because of their quick response, their honesty, and their unmatched support services," added Mr. Keyes. "I am definitely looking forward to developing my territory with even more locations in the near future."
The Fleet Enterprises franchise program was developed to create opportunity for ASE certified truck and trailer technicians that want to become independent business owners, as well as for other business professionals and military veterans seeking a viable growth opportunity.
"We are confident in Julian and his abilities, particularly given his military background. We think he, and other service members and veterans, will be a great fit for our system, which we've carefully developed and made replicable through a complete set of specialized processes," said Tony DiMambro, Co-Owner of Fleet Enterprises. "We think this is the start of something truly great, and are eager to attract even more veterans as franchise owners into our program going forward."
