LAUDERHILL, FL, July 31, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bob Miller will release his book Epilogue on August 5. Based on a true story, Epilogue tells the almost incredible tale of the author's involvement with the mob in Las Vegas as he takes the only flying work he can find after returning from Vietnam, where he had been deployed with the 192nd Assault Helicopter Company.
Miller soon realized that the people he was flying for had no respect for human life and that a little knowledge could be a very dangerous thing. When dealing with the mob, "...[p]assing judgment or being nosy could be terminal afflictions...". Miller does what is necessary to thwart his client's plan for his 'early retirement', even after the dreadful realization that his wife has been murdered. He later discovers he has been ferrying two kilos of cocaine and eight hundred thousand dollars - dangerous cargo indeed. With help from a friend and fellow veteran, Miller sets off to avenge his wife's murder, using the mob's own illicit funds, but there are still many surprises to come in this complex and action-packed story.
Epilogue has been described as a book about the ultimate act of revenge but there is far more than revenge in this story of sociopaths, ruthless assassins, undercover law-enforcement agents, and drug addiction. The people you will meet in the pages of this book live by very different rules from the rest of us and the plot, with its numerous twists and turns, is guaranteed to have readers burning the midnight oil - this is not a novel that will be easy to put down. Fortunately, it could feasibly be read in one session; however, while it may be a fairly quick read, it will certainly not be a comfortable one.
Epilogue is available in softcover for $9.99 on Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com and in fine bookstores. For more information please visit http://kill-me-if-you-can-epilogue.com/.
