ROME, ITALY, July 04, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rome's Auditorium Parco Della Musica is set to welcome Canadian songstress Alanis Morissette next month.
The award-winning singer will perform in the Italian capital on Saturday July 21st as part of her current European tour, which precedes the release of new album Havoc and Bright Lights later this year.
Due out in August, the LP will be Morissette's first studio effort since Flavors of Entanglement from 2008.
Fans will no doubt be keen to hear her new material performed live, as well as listening to classic tracks from the artist's substantial back catalogue.
Morissette was catapulted to global stardom by the phenomenal response to her 1995 album Jagged Little Pill, which has now sold more than 33 million copies worldwide.
The record, buoyed by the success of hugely popular singles such as Hand in My Pocket and Ironic, was praised by critics and won a Grammy Award for album of the year in 1996.
Tickets to see Morissette live in Rome can be purchased online, priced between EUR40 and EUR70 (GBP31.90 and GBP55.90). The show is due to begin at 21:00 local time.
