The New Season Trends Including House of Holland for Pretty Polly: At AlexBlake.com

    LONDON, ENGLAND, August 03, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Even though it's the height of summer and our super-sheer sheers are our best friend right now, we can't help but get excited about the fall trends that are heading swiftly this way.

We have long had a huge style crush on the House of Holland for Pretty Polly collection, which always debuts innovative, cutting edge fashion every season. The F/W 12 collection was no different - bold graphic designs were easily linkable to Henry's quoted inspiration ("70s sportswear") - with classic patterns like stripes, spots and houndstooth all getting a revamped, House of Holland touch.
House of Holland tights are quirky in the extreme and will take your closet to new levels of cool. If you can't quite wait to see all of the new designs due in the fall, take a look at the current collection - our favorite at the moment are the Bones Tights, as seen on Katy Perry. Not just for Halloween, these will always lend a rock and roll touch to your look!

Of course, while Henry Holland Tights will always hold a special place in our hearts, there was loads of other super cool hosiery on the catwalks, and we can't wait to get the look when our fall stock arrives. Here are some of our favorite trends coming up next season...

Winter Florals
As seen on the Boru Asku catwalk, opaques were given a flowery makeover. Perfect for the winter party season, keep an eye out for Emilio Cavallini and Falke, who are both doing variations on the theme. Finally, a pretty opaque that will make our legs stand out AND keep us warm on cold, wintery days!

Animal Print
We know, we know... it can hardly be classed as a "trend" when it comes back season after season - but animal print hosiery was everywhere on the F/W catwalks, including PPQ and Blumarine's catwalks. We already stock a great range of animal print hosiery but are looking forward to welcoming new designs, from names including Italian brand Trasparenze, to our collection.

Fall Colour Palette
A new fall palette was in place on the FW catwalk. Vivienne Westwood went for classic winter plum shades, while other names like Issa (a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge) added flashes of bright hosiery to the looks. Some even experimented with winter pastels, combining mint, pale pink and baby blue for a sweet chalet girl type look. Charnos, Jonthan Aston and Oroblu's fall collections have gorgeous rich wintery colours like plum and cranberry, or head to Miss Oroblu and Henry Holland for eye-popping brights.
