Anthony Fey Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in U.S. Military Recruitment

    FORT HAMILTON, NY, August 2, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anthony Fey, a Station Commander and Sergeant First Class for the U.S. Army, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in U.S. military recruitment.

SFC Fey has 14 years of experience serving the U.S. Army, with eight years of experience as recruiter and Sergeant First Class. He is responsible for managing the recruiting of medical professionals, managing administrative duties, and contacting, interviewing and advising civilian personnel to obtain qualified applicants for commissioning into the Army. Additionally, he reaches out to representatives of schools, public officials, personnel managers, parents of prospective applicants, and religious and civil leaders to present the Army as an employment and career opportunity.

SFC Fey has gained substantial experience presenting formal and informal speeches on the advantages of the Army at civic and service organizations, and to student body groups. He discusses individual aims and goals to include security, personal aptitudes, training opportunities, job satisfaction and stability, advancement, prestige, and military life. In recruiting new commissions, he evaluates applicants' occupational, educational, and psychological background to determine Army programs that would be of specific individual appeal.

He has been deployed twice: once to Afghanistan and once to Iraq. He has received various awards and honors, both in the Army and in recruiting. He attributes his success to his hard work and dedication. The most gratifying aspect of his career is knowing that his role in commissioning individuals into the military could change their lives indefinitely.

SFC Fey is pursuing a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from American Military University. In 2011, SFC Fey was featured in Pro-Files Magazine.
