Cambridge Who's Who Names Cheryl Y. Lee, DDS, Professional of the Year in Dentistry

    WASHINGTON, DC, August 8, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cheryl Lee, Dentist and Owner of Cheryl Y. Lee, DDS, PC, has been named a Professional of the Year in Dentistry. With 26 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Lee practices general dentistry through her office, Cheryl Y. Lee, DDS, PC. Her clients include both children and adults. Dr. Lee is the lead dentists in treating patients with severe mental and physical challenges. She was inspired to enter her profession by her father, who was also a dentist. She attributes her success to her hard work, dedication and integrity.

Dr. Lee graduated from Howard University's College of Dentistry with a DDS degree in 1983, and earned a Certificate of Proficiency in Pediatric Dentistry from the school two years later. She holds memberships to The American Orthodontic Society, The National Association of Certified Natural Health Professionals, The Appliance Therapy Practitioners Association, National Dental Association, Robert T. Freeman Dental Society, Howard University College of Dentistry Alumni Association and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Taratibu Youth Association, a Pan-African Step Team in Washington, D.C. On a volunteer basis, she provides dental services to the National African Hebrew Israelite community in Dimona, Israel. In the future, Dr. Lee plans to retire from full-time practice but continue as a consultant. In addition, she intends to pursue her interests in nutrition and gourmet raw foods.

Dr. Lee is married to her wonderful husband, Michael Butler. They are raising theit two lovely daughters Kiersten and Ahneenah, and enjoying quality time with their grandson, Jael.
