Maj. Stacey Coleman Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Critical Care Nursing

    VACAVILLE, CA, August 8, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Maj. Stacey Coleman, Officer and Critical Care Nurse for the U.S. Air Force, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in critical care nursing.

After working as a civilian registered nurse for a year, Ms. Coleman brought her expertise in critical care nursing to the U.S. Air Force in 1994. She has since accrued nearly two decades of experience with the organization, working at seven different bases worldwide in the areas of flight nursing, emergency and intensive care. She has served four tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Today, Ms. Coleman is a deputy flight commander at the David Grant Medical Center at the Travis Air Force Base in California.

In 2007, Ms. Coleman earned an MBA from Webster University and earned a Critical Care Nurse of the Year award from the U.S. Air Force. She previously earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Arkansas State University. Ms. Coleman remains current in her field through affiliation with the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
