NORCROSS, GA, August 10, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Premier Surfaces, an Atlanta granite countertops fabricator, partnered with The Home Depot and The Home Depot Foundation to renovate the home of Aimee Copeland, the Snellville, Georgia woman who lost both hands, a leg and a foot to a flesh-eating bacteria earlier this year.
Premier Surfaces has provided custom granite countertops and a custom fireplace for the newly renovated Copeland home.
"Premier Surfaces is proud to work with The Home Depot and The Home Depot Foundation to renovate the Copeland home, making it safe and fully accessible for Aimee when she returns home," said Dara Summers, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Premier Surfaces. "Since our inception, Premier Surfaces has understood that one of the most important things we can do is give back to our community. When we heard Aimee's story, our hearts went out to her and her family, so we are thrilled that we can come together with The Home Depot and The Home Depot Foundation to help make life a little better for the Copeland family."
During the four week renovation, The Home Depot, The Home Depot Foundation and the company's Home Services division have assembled vendor partners, service providers and associate volunteers to provide expert advice, products, installation and financial assistance to improve the Copeland family's home.
"We are delighted to partner with companies that make long term commitments to the overall well-being of our communities," said John Klemenc, Store Manager, The Home Depot Store 0144. "Premier Surfaces' contributions have been essential to accomplish our goal and help bring Aimee home."
