For Barker and Sides, it is much more than a marketing tool for Senior Solutions. It is the fusion of two lifelong passions. The business partners also have plenty of experience with barbecue which really adds to the authenticity of the cookbook. A Georgia native, Barker brings his love of shoulders and ribs to the fire pit. Sides, who grew up in North Carolina, contributes the tangy flavor of Carolina chopped pork barbecue with its zesty vinegar based sauce that will put a smile on just about anyone's face.
