"Nothing is Different But Everything Has Changed", an Evening of One-Act Comedies by Dean Donofrio

Including a musical performance by Las Vegas-based Wes Bernstein to be performed at Theatre Asylum.

VENTNOR, NJ, August 17, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Glowhouse Productions is producing an evening of six one-act plays called Nothing Is Different But Everything Has Changed, written by Dean Donofrio, at Theatre Asylum in Hollywood from August 15th through September 16th 2012.

The show is a compilation of six irreverent one-act comedies, and includes a musical performance by 13-year-old singing and acting sensation Wes Bernstein. Five of the six plays have been produced multiple times in Los Angeles and are back by popular demand. In Red Flag, a date gone horribly wrong illuminates the differences between men and women; in Place of Business, paranoia gets the best of a gossipy woman who begins to suspect her hair dresser of lying to her; In A Line is Drawn at Ruby Tuesday, a young couple attempts to break off their friendship with an annoying neighbor with disastrous results; in Underage Overachiever, a subtle game of manipulation plays out between a reality show producer and her on-camera subject, a teenage tennis champion; in Whatever Sean Wants, when a boy's parents find out he can sing like Michael Buble, they get carried away with dreams of a better life; and in The Christmas Tune, things get heated when a man's obnoxious friend inadvertently disrupts his budding romance with a woman.

This quirky 100-minute show plays for 10 nights and is directed by Jonathan Bray, Chris Comeau, Warren Davis, Barbara Stepansky, and Dean Donofrio. It stars April Adams, Monica Baker, Wes Bernstein, Sean Vincent Biggins, Annie Boon, Lena Bouton, Jonathan Bray, Maryfrances Careccia, Timothy Ryan Cole, Warren Davis, Rebecca Lumianski, Natalie Palamides, Laura Parker, Lizzie Peet, Andrew Racho, Mike Shaffrey, and ErinRose Widner; and on Aug. 29th nd 30th only: Ben Montague and Scout Raskin with director Aaron Garcia.
