ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Karin Thayer is the Founder/CEO of Fertility Planit. Originally from San Francisco, she earned her BA at Smith College and her MFA at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Her work as a TV producer has taken her all over the world, working with clients such as the BBC, Discovery, PBS and Oxygen Media. Her award winning films have screened at festivals including Sundance, Telluride and the Berlinale.

During a long and challenging journey with trying to have a child, Karin decided to "fly solo" into motherhood. She experienced multiple IVF and IUI treatments, years of acupuncture and mind-body-spirit therapies, and failed pregnancies. Throughout her experience she yearned for a comprehensive online resource which she could customize. Fertility Planit is the resource Karin couldn't find.
