YORKSHIRE, ENGLAND, September 10, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The outsourced sales and marketing company, Pareto Global Associates consider themselves as "the smiles and handshakes for various National and International companies," have already announced their commitment to energy efficiency previously and endeavour to become even more energy efficient.
Pareto Global Associates had previously conducted research and found ways that their business can easily lower energy use and costs without effort at all. The changes that have been implemented include using systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning and lighting.
"Consumers need to feel that their buying decisions are contributing in some way to a 'greater good'. Since promoting our commitment to energy efficiency we have noticed a big change in the way our customers perceive our company. The feedback we have received along the lines of people wanted to buy from us due to our environmental policies has been very positive. If you can use less energy and reduce costs but provide the same service, then why wouldn't you? One business is not going to make the world of difference but every bit counts and we want to do our part," says Cyril Williams, managing director of Pareto Global Associates.
Williams further adds; "We have slowly introduced small changes like turning off computers at the end of the day, limiting our air conditioning use or only printing documents that are absolutely necessary and we will continue to implement more changes over time. We are aware that some changes will take some practice but in time they should become second nature. Of course, seeing the financial benefits of these changes will incentives us to keep it up."
Other well known businesses have adopted the approach of becoming sustainable. Ben & Jerrys founder Jerry Greenfield agrees that sustainability and profits do mix. "Entrepreneurs should be socially responsible to be successful and to be an ethical business; you need to think about the products you're making; how you source your materials and how you manufacture the products. Then you try to factor social and environmental concerns into those activities."
Marks and Spencers have recently instilled a campaign of giving vouchers out if customers return unwanted clothes (known as 'schwopping'), and B&Q now offer rental tools to street clubs.
Sustainability has a tremendous impact on a businesses profit, Pareto Global Associates are definitely taking a step in the right direction.
