HOUSTON, TX, September 29, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Flexible Lifeline Systems, Inc. today announced a number of key promotions within the organization as part of their continuing strategy to accomplish their objectives and manage the growing engineered systems and aviation maintenance platform divisions.
Austin Townsend has been promoted to Vice President of Engineering, a new position created to manage their expanding engineered fall protection systems business. Mr. Townsend previously held the position of Project Manager and has been with Flexible Lifeline Systems for 6 years. Prior to Flexible, Mr. Townsend held project management positions with large general contractors, DPR and Manhattan. Mr. Townsend holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University.
Jamie Anderson has been promoted to Vice President of Operations. Mr. Anderson will be responsible for the fabrication and installation divisions of their engineered systems business. Mr. Anderson has filled several roles within Flexible Lifeline Systems starting with Installer and most recently, Project Manager and has been with Flexible Lifeline Systems for 7 years. Mr. Anderson holds a BA from Texas A&M University. Prior to Flexible, Mr. Anderson served 8 years in the U.S. Army, 4 of those in the 5th Special Forces Group. Flexible Lifeline Systems is exceedingly grateful to Mr. Anderson for his service to our country.
David Lee has been promoted to Vice President of Manufacturing. Mr. Lee will be responsible for the aviation maintenance stand manufacturing division, the fastest growing segment of the business. Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana Tech University and has been involved in the fall protection industry in various capacities for 18 years.
These promotions will allow Flexible Lifeline Systems to continue to provide their customers with the industry's best active and passive fall protection systems.
