NEWINGTON, CT, October 04, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- TakeCharge Capital (TCC) has entered into a fantasy football competition for charity with eleven other companies from the small business lending industry. The rules dictate that each participant must select a registered 501(c)(3) organization to represent.
TCC Chief Executive Officer, Sam Kota, was proud to share that they are competing for Distressed Children & Infants International (DCI), an organization whose primary objective is to provide children in rural areas the opportunity to receive an education instead of entering into child labor. Additionally the charity serves a range of issues affecting children in impoverished areas of Bangladesh. DCI also provides funding for early-stage treatment/surgery to children with severe eyesight problems, by treating these problems during infancy/childhood, they're actually able to prevent long term blindness.
"We've made it our own personal mission to help businesses grow," said Kota. "But there are places around the world where more fundamental support is needed. Education is the foundation for a better life."
At the end of the season, 100% of the collected contributions from each company will go entirely to the winning team's charity. More than $6,000 had been pledged to the prize so far. TCC will continue to announce updates to the competition on their Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/GoTakeChargeCapital and the winner will be announced in late December.
Anyone can donate to DCI at http://distressedchildren.org. The named charities have not acknowledged or endorsed the competition. TakeCharge Capital does not accept or solicit donations. To inquire about financing, please visit http://takechargecapital.com.
