International Open Gaming Competition: First Year In 2008!
Run by The Gamer's Community Company LLC, the International Open Gaming Competition is a unique convention based around the Technology world. Primarily focusing on games, the goal of the convention is to boost competitive gaming into the spotlight. What makes this convention unique?
/24-7PressRelease/ - HILO, HI, July 18, 2007 - Aside from lasting for four days and three nights, the Competition is involving the entire IT and gaming community in it's planning stages, from selecting a city to choosing events and guests. Running the Competition in this way will allow everyone a sense of involvement, and with it, an increased sense of fun!
The Competition will be running the whole gambit of game types. It isn't being limited to simply Computer or Console-based games! From Tabletop, including Card Game and others, various game types will be available. A planned arcade room will be open during the four days as well. In a way, the Competition, much more then a tournament, is a celebration of gaming.
For more information, the Competition's website is now available at http://www.inogc.com. The forums are open and our moderators are willing to help anyone who has questions or suggestions. INOGC's planned dates are currently set to June 2008, the 18th through the 22nd.
