LONDON, ENGLAND, October 18, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The world premiere of Skyfall, the 23rd release of the famous James Bond film series, will take place London's iconic Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday 23rd October 2012. A star-studded guest-list will be amongst the first people on the planet to catch a glimpse of Daniel Craig's third outing as the revered British spy.
Sam Mendes' Skyfall, the long awaited follow up to 2008's Quantum of Solace, will see James Bond's loyalty to M, the head of MI6, tested to the absolute limit as her past comes back to haunt her. The identities of every active undercover MI6 agent fall into the wrong hands and 007 must track down the dangerous Raoul Silva. As his search takes him from London to the South China Sea, Bond uncovers more secrets from M's past.
British actor Daniel Craig will lead the cast once again, playing the suave undercover agent. Alongside him star Javier Bardem as the villainous Raoul Silva, Judi Dench as M, Naomie Harris as MI6 field agent Eve, Ralph Fiennes as the Chairmain of the Intelligence and Security Committee and Ben Whishaw, making his first appearance as Q, the famous MI6 quartermaster.
The main cast of Skyfall was officially announced on November 3rd 2011, exactly fifty years to the day since Sean Connery was announced as the first ever man to play 007 in the 1962 film Dr No.
His Royal Highness Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall will join the main cast of the film in attendance at the Royal Albert Hall. At the request of His Royal Highness, who is the Royal Patron of the Intelligence Services, the premiere will benefit the charities that support former and current members of the three intelligence agencies - the Secret Intelligence Service, the Security Service and UK Government Communications Headquarters.
The Royal Albert Hall is no stranger to spectacular film premieres, having hosted the first screenings the 20th Bond adventure Die Another Day in 2002 and the launch of Titanic in 3D earlier in 2012.
The website LondonTown.com, which provides accommodation and ticketing for all major London events, has also announced details of reduced rates at London hotels in the area. For booking information, and to see more discounted London hotels, visit www.LondonTown.com.
