To customize the new program, Sturgeon has brought in Corporate Team Builder Rich Shoen, a University of Massachusetts Ph.D, who teaches at Texas Christian University. Dr. Shoen held high-level managerial and executive positions at Fortune 500 corporations before entering the consulting world as an executive coach and leadership development expert. His consulting clients include Bank of America, PRG-Schultz and Corrosion Technologies.

Shoen designs exercises that help team members improve whatever specific obstacles are preventing the team from achieving top performance.
