    COMMERCE, CA, December 17, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- As of Friday, December 14, 2012, Zeus & Company California (West), has been acquired by Animal Supply Company, Seattle, WA.

Zeus & Company West employees will now be employed by Animal Supply Company. No Vendors will be affected by the sale and all daily business operations will remain in place to ensure a smooth transition. Zeus & Company West would like to thank all of their West customers and publicly say it has been a pleasure to serve them. Zeus & Company West wishes their West customers the best of everything in 2013 and beyond.

Zeus & Company's Midwest locations, Des Plaines, IL and Cottage Grove, MN, will NOT be affected by the sale of Zeus & Company West. Current Vendors of Zeus & Company and the daily operations and services to retailers in the Midwest regions will continue as normal. Zeus & Company will continue to strive for excellence in service, providing top pet nutrition products and cutting edge supplies to the independent pet retailer marketplace. Strong sales for 2013 and beyond are expected.
