/24-7PressRelease/ - ORLANDO, FL, August 18, 2007 -- Although pampering of the body has a purpose, a massage for the mind and spa therapy for the spirit are equally as important in achieving complete wellness. The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Orlando Grande Lakes' new Lifestyle Enhancement Journey, is priced exclusively and available to guests at both The Ritz-Carlton and the JW Marriott. The Orlando spa offers a fulfilling path that addresses the total being; a program which rivals what was once only available at destination spas.
Self-discovery, preventive care and the development of positive lifestyle habits are the roots of this multiple-day (two or three) program. The Lifestyle Enhancement Two-Day Journey at the Orlando, Florida luxury hotels is priced at $1,050 and the Three-Day Journey is priced at $1,595, both inclusive of service charge.
The program is entirely personalized and developed to address many of life's challenges such as stress, insomnia, aches & pains, or everyday issues. It begins by meeting with a wellness specialist to customize a Journey consisting of body treatments, yoga, meditation, nutritious meals, skin care, body sculpting, personal training and more based on guests' individual needs.
The first day of the program at the Spa includes wellness assessments and detoxification treatments.
• Head Start Body Composition Analysis and Nutrition Consultation: a body fat assessment is followed by a full consultation to assess individual needs and preferences. This complete program is devised for use at home.
• Choice of 75 minute treatments: Ionithermie Detox Treatment - a non-invasive program to reduce cellulite, tone and detoxify the body (seaweed and mink oil foaming bath included for at home care) or the Emerald Green Body Masque - a rich seaweed masque helps to detoxify, tone skin and provide intense moisture.
The second day consists of 30-minute meditation; followed by 50 minutes each of Hadashi bodywork, skin treatment and reflexology.
• Hadashi: an ancient form of bodywork where specially trained therapists use bars set in the ceiling for balance while their feet perform deep compression.
• Le Renovatuer Body Polish: a sweet concoction of roasted sunflower seeds and essential oils utilized to correct and rejuvenate the skin.
• Reflexology: a focus on reflex points in the feet to help enhance circulation and create balance.
The third day at the Spa (which is an optional extension of the program) includes personal training, yoga, pilates and customized spa treatments (facial, manicure and pedicure.)
