The Savvy Stews Are Landing on The Better Show With On-Location Reports From Around the World

    COCONUT GROVE, FL, January 18, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Travel industry insiders Gailen David and Bobby Laurie, known to television audiences as "The Savvy Stews," will be appearing on the syndicated lifestyle program "The Better Show" as travel correspondents starting on January 30, 2013.

After David and Laurie's introductory appearance on the show, their segments will be filmed on location at some of the worlds hottest destinations showcasing amazing properties, attractions, events and products.

"We're excited that we'll be able to take Better Show viewers out of the studio and on the road with us," Laurie said. "We have a lot of amazing trips to fascinating destinations planned and we can't wait to show them to you."

David and Laurie are no strangers to television having produced over fifty travel segments for local and national lifestyle and entertainment programs over the past three years.

"Most of our previous segments took place in the studio environment providing tips to viewers and we're very excited that Better is allowing us to 'take the show on the road' and put those tips and tricks to good use," David explained. "Showing viewers that our tips do work, and that they can arrive at a destination stress-free ready to relax and explore is going to be an amazing experience."

The on-location travel segments are being produced in a partnership between popular hotel booking website Trivago.com and Savvy Omnimedia. Viewers will be able to watch The Savvy Stews' segment bi-weekly on The Better Show through January 2014 (local television listings can be found on at savvystews.com/better) Additionally, viewers can follow the pair as they travel on Twitter and Facebook, along with a live blog on their website www.SavvyStews.com.

About Bobby Laurie
Bobby Laurie's background in the travel industry dates back to November 2005 when he was hired as a flight attendant for Republic Airlines. After a short four month stay at the company he moved to Phoenix, Arizona to work for US Airways where he started his move up the corporate ladder and held various positions within the company before ultimately landing as an Analyst in the airline's InFlight Policies & Procedures Department. A year and a half after being hired Laurie left his post to return to life as a flight attendant at a Low-Cost Carrier.

In 2009 he created the travel blog Up Up & A Gay. The website was designed to collect and journal the experiences Laurie encountered while working as a flight attendant.
