Yungwirth has an impressive background with 30 years of experience in the mining industry. As the chief executive officer of Moneta Porcupine Mines, Inc., he is responsible for evaluating resources, financing, managing projects and structure consulting. Yungwirth started his career with entry level work at resource companies, helping them establish their businesses. He worked his way up to assisting larger companies until he found his niche in finance. Moneta Porcupine Mines, Inc. is a long established junior mining company and has been listed on the TSE since 1910. Moneta has extensive gold and base metal properties in the Timmins and Golden Highway Mining Camps of Ontario and joint venture projects with several of the world's largest mining companies. Yungwirth is especially proud of being a part of the discovery of The Golden Highway, a route that was named for all of the gold mining that occurs in the area.

Yungwirth received his bachelor of law and bachelor of science in mining and engineering degrees from the University of Saskatchewan, in 1976 and 1973 respectively. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of Manitoba and the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario. He is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum.
