/24-7PressRelease/ - September 07, 2007 - Glow Networks, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been ranked No. 1016 in the first-ever Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the United States. Glow made its entry to this elite list of growing companies on the basis of its 350% growth in revenues between 2003 and 2006.
Inc. 5000 is a mix of large companies, too big to grow at the pace required to find a place in the prestigious Inc. 500 list, as well as smaller companies that are making rapid strides. Boasting combined revenue of $194.5 billion, members of the Inc. 5000 represent the backbone of the US economy.
Glow Networks also found itself in the Top 100 companies by industry and by Metro region, by being ranked 42nd in the telecommunications sector and 28th in the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) region, respectively.
"We are indeed honored and proud to be amongst the fastest growing companies in the United States," said Dr. Jay Srinivasan, Founder & President of Glow Networks. "The comprehensive nature of the Inc. 5000 list, which includes companies of all sizes from all sectors, makes this recognition even more special."
The entry to the Inc.5000 list closely follows the first DiversityNXT NXT Solutions Supplier Award that the company received in June 2007. Last year, Glow Networks was also named to the Texas Technology Fast 50 Program by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP.
Having established itself as a top technology company nationwide during the past few years, the company is now focused on continuing with the same momentum by extending its portfolio of services with mergers and acquisitions. The company now provides end-to-end network solutions and services for the telecom market, including engineering, research and consultancy, and has a footprint across North America and Asia.
"Our company's commendable growth in the last 3 years—a result of the focus and drive of the management and the talent, commitment & hard work of our people—has been duly recognized with the various accolades we have received," said Dev Sridharan, CFO of Glow Networks. "Our goal is to continue on this growth path using various strategies that will deliver greater value for existing and new clients."

The 2007 Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth from 2003 through 2006. To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based and privately held, independent - not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies - as of December 31, 2006, and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2003, and $2 million in 2006.
The 2007 Inc. 5,000, as revealed online at http://www.inc.com, reported median revenue of $9.4 million and median three-year growth of 140 percent. Complete information on this year's Inc. 5,000, can be found at http://www.inc.com/inc5000. The list features a profile for each company, almost all of them written as a result of Inc. interviews with management. In addition, the list is searchable according to numerous criteria, including industry, city, state, region, and year founded.
"The Inc. 5,000 provides the most comprehensive look ever at the most important part of the economy - the entrepreneurial part," said Inc. 5,000 Project Manager Jim Melloan.
