Joel Wilson and The Revival hail from Oklahoma City. Joel, originally from Vernon, Tx, has played since 2006 doing mostly acoustic performances. He is a small town boy with a huge voice. Joel teamed up with drummer Michael Tapscott and played a few shows in 2010. The shows went well and the duo decided to add lead guitarist Eric Williams and bassist Tyler Nichols and have been busy on the road ever since, traveling in Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas.
They have shared the stage with the likes of Eric Church, Stoney Larue, Joe Ely, Deryl Dobb, Jon Wolfe, William Clark Green, Steve Rice of No Justice, Brandon Jackson, Jackson Taylor Band, Mike Hosty, Chuck Allen Floyd, Bonnie Bishop and Bo Phillips. Their crowd favorites include "All About Me", "Hate Love", "I Wanna Make Love", "The Ballad of Bobby Sue", and "American Ground", a song he wrote for his brother, James Wilson, who has been over in Iraq for two tours.
