Specialty Hospital of Washington-Capitol Hill Receives Laboratory Accreditation

    WASHINGTON, DC, February 28, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Manisha Singal announced the national recognition of the Hospital's laboratory department. SHW-Capitol Hill laboratory is one of just 7, 000 CAP-accredited laboratories worldwide.

During the CAP accreditation process, inspectors examine the laboratory's records and quality control of procedures for the preceding two years. CAP inspectors also examine laboratory staff qualifications as well as the laboratory's equipment, facilities, safety program and record, in addition to the overall management of the laboratory.
